  2. Dear Sir,

The easiest route to Sode from Chennai, I guess, would be through Bangalore. You can get to Bangalore via bus or train and then catch a bus to Sirsi. You can book KSRTC bus tickets from Bangalore to Sirsi online at http://ksrtc.in

From Sirsi, Sode is about 17kms away and you will find local transportation there. You cannot book advance accomodation at Sode. If you are keen on good accomodation, you can take a lodge at Sirsi.

    Hope this helps.
    Regards, Hari

  4. Dear Arvind,

I do not have the numbers and am not sure if they have a mobile phone there. If you are from Bangalore, then you can probably get the telephone number of Sode Mutt from Vidyapeetha, BSK III stage, Bangalore.

  7. Dear Sri Paraankusam Ramaswamy Sir,

Hope you had the darshan of Shri Vadirajaru by now. If not here is a piece of information for you.

From Madras, you can take couple of trains that go upto Hubli Jn(Vasco exp runs on Friday and Hubli exp on sun). The train leaves madras around 2 pm and reach Hubli next morning around 5 AM. From Hubli it will take less than 2 hours to reach Sode.

I am also from chennai and we had the privilege of visiting the great place twice last year and both the times, we took the above train which was very comfortable all through.

    Regards,
