I will stick to Hindi songs in this post.

Kishore Kumar is God to me when it comes to singing. Here are some of my favorite Kishore-da hits.

• Neele Neele Ambar Par – Amazing energy in this song.
• Kehna Hai – Is there a better romantic song?
• Ek Chatur Naar – How about some competition and comparison?
• Pagh Ghungroo Baandh – As good a combination can get: Kishore and Amitabh
• Aane Waala Pal – I just don’t know how to describe this one
• Manzilen Apni Jagah – What depth in the voice!
• O Saathi re – If you are missing someone, DO NOT listen to this song
• O Hansini – This one’s there in my top 3 favorites. An absolute treat!

• Sach mere yaar hai – For those who thought Ek Duje Ki Liye is what defined SPB in Hindi, listen to this one. Clearly his best Hindi number.
• Hoga Tumse Pyaar Kaun – Superb! Just Superb!
• Zindagi Kaise Hai Paheli – From Anand…wooooooo….I should probably put all of Anand’s songs here.

I just absolutely love this song!

• Favorite task: Laundry – Its really easy with the equipment here. Once done, even if you wore your jeans without pressing, no one would notice
• Favorite machine: The weighing machine in the gym here – it shows I have put on 2.5 lbs in a week!
• Favorite movie: Hard Rain – saw it last week. I am hearing many Katrina stories over CNN here and seems like many scenes from the movie have come true (like people refusing to evacuate).
• Favorite song: Naguva Gulabi Hoove – See/hear it here. Lyrics are awesome! And of course, Shankar Nag.
• Favorite website: YouTube – Gives me my dose of Indian songs here.
• Favorite food: None – Nothing can beat home food.
• Favorite sport: Tennis – that’s the only thing I can follow over here. There’s no doubt Federer is the greatest ever! And Djokovic is unbelievably good in impersonating Sharapova and Nadal.
