Vishnu Sahasranama in Kannada

I had set myself a goal of completing the transliteration of the Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra into Kannada during the long weekend here. Could not get started till Sunday evening and when I started, I thought of doing a few shlokas every day so I could complete it maybe in a week or ten days. But a sudden spike in interest led me to finish it in less than 24 hours. You can download the same from here. I would be grateful if any mistakes/corrections are pointed out. Please leave a comment here with your feedback. I have also uploaded some daily prayer shlokas at the same location.

    Oops…I can’t find any site offering a Kannada version of Durga Saptashathi. That puts it on my radar :-) But I have not had initiation into reciting this and so am not sure when I could get it ready. Will surely try and transliterate it.

    ೪೨) ಪರಮಃ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಃ- ಪರಮಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಃ
    ೪೭) ಸ್ಥವಿಷ್ಠೋ ಭೂಃ- ಸ್ಥವಿಷ್ಠೋऽಭೂಃ
    ೫೧) ಧರ್ಮಕೃದ್ಧರ್ಮಗುಬ್ಧರ್ಮೀ- ಧರ್ಮಗುಬ್ಧರ್ಮಕೃದ್ಧರ್ಮೀ
    ೯೨) ನಿಯಂತಾ ನಿಯಮೋ ಯಮಃ- ನಿಯಂತಾऽನಿಯಮೋऽಯಮಃ

    (೭) ತ್ರಿಕಕುಬ್ಧಾಮ, ತಿಕಕುದ್ಧಾಮ- ಎರದೂ ರೂಪಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆ ಹಾಗು ಇವುಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವೂ ಒಂದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
    (೩೩) ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತರೂಪ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತರೂಪ ಎರಡೂ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಅರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನೇ ಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅನ್ನೋದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೆ
    (೩೪) ಇದೂ ಮೇಲಿನಂತೆಯೆ. ಆದರೆ ನನಗೆ ನೀವು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ರೂಪ ಎಲ್ಲೂ ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲ
    (೫೧) ಇದು ನೀವು ಒತ್ತುವಾಗ ಪಲ್ಲಟವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಅರ್ಥಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧಕವಿಲ್ಲ.

    I don’t think there is a website offering Durga Saptashati in Kannada.

    I will do it myself but it could be several weeks before I put it up. Maybe I will start by uploading the individuals chapters.

    Do we have the meaning of Vishnu sahasranama in kannada, I guess it makes more sense when chanting these mantras if we know the meaning. I know it’s a mammoth job but just wondering if anyone has scanned it from a good publisher.
